1969 California Surf Map

Here's a story... In 1969, Jeff White commissioned a local Carpinteria based printing shop to put together these California Surf Map posters for sale in the downtown Surf N Wear location on Carrillo St, Santa Barbara. Funny part is, while they were eventually printed, they somehow never made it to the sales floor, and instead were placed in storage and forgotten about. At least until 1989, when Roger Nance found the box and opened it, finding the posters. Some had been damaged by water, but many were, and are still, in like-new condition. These are the same posters, finally up for sale 56 years later.

Featuring all of your favorite California surf spots, these vintage posers are a little piece of surf history, and are printed on high quality, heavyweight poster paper. A really cool find!
