1969- Innermost Limits of Pure Fun - George Greenough
The way it began...
Rincon. I was sitting in my little car along highway 101 & with sketchbook "doodling" on my lap... George Greenough walked by ( I, of course, was already aware of who he was! )
He backed up, looked in the window at my sketchbook and asked, "Do you want to do some artwork for my movie?" Surprised?! Yes!
It took about a month to finish it with the names of all the guys in it... as well as the flyer.
I was extremely honored to be invited by George to the first showing at the Lobero theater in Santa Barbara.
Sooo... backing up, he invited me to his parents house in Montecito... He was up on the roof with his camera and he panned in on the 3 surfers ( as seen on poster ) and panned back, to make it look like an animation! Pretty impressive on the big screen!
